"Military Corner" Helps Active and Retired Military Achieve Better Sexual Health
The Sinclair Institute is creating a special "Military Corner" on BetterSex.com for active and retired military. The Military Corner provides helpful articles from guest sex educators and therapists such as Dr. Lori Buckley, opportunities for soldiers to share sexual health tips and receive special discounts.
(Vocus/PRWEB ) November 10, 2009 -- When BetterSex.com noticed almost 20% of their customers were active or retired military the company wanted to help. "We received a terrifying but erotic story from a soldier during a recent Erotic Fiction Contest," explained Martin Smith a company Director. "We wanted to help our soldiers but weren't sure how," Mr. Smith said. Today's military is highly connected, digitally savvy and facing new challenges.

Active and retired military may face sexual health challenges too. "Going to a grocery store takes some getting used to after months in a war zone, so re-integration with partners, wives and families is bound to pose challenges," explained Mr. Smith. BetterSex.com's parent company The Sinclair Institute works with therapists and educators to create award winning adult sex education DVD's such as The Better Sex Video Series: Sexplorations. Dr. Lori Buckley, a Pasadena, California couples therapist featured in Sexplorations, is writing the first Military Corner sexual health article.
The Military Corner on BetterSex.com will be a place where soldiers help each other too. "We want to help, support and encourage our soldiers," Mr. Smith shared. The company's plans are fluid. "Our Military Corner starting place won't be where we end up," Mr. Smith said. The company is asking for assistance, help and guidance from active and retired military. "Our Military Corner will evolve however needed to help and support our troops as creating a special area is the least we can do to say THANKS," Mr. Smith noted.
Saving money is a universal concern in a tight economy. "We hope to create special discounts for every military unit by asking permission first" Mr. Smith said. The Military Corner includes a sign up form. Active or retired soldiers sign up and BetterSex.com creates special discounts. "Each service person receives a special Military Corner Code for savings," Director Smith explained. The company's first challenge is learning about every unit in the army and reserves. "Our hope is word-of-mouth spreads quickly so we can help hundreds of soldiers this holiday season," Mr. Smith said.
What about other helpful groups on tight budgets? "We owe debts to many groups such as health care workers, volunteers, teachers, police and firemen, and will find ways to say THANK YOU to these important groups too," said Director Smith. BetterSex.com provides free gifts to 95% of customers who buy from its online store and is diligent about market pricing. "Online pricing is dynamic and can be misleading," Mr. Smith said. The company's "value price" initiative has been well received. "Savvy web customers weigh value as a sum of price and other factors such as 24/7/365 toll free operators, after sale support, return policies and company history so we work hard to provide the best value pricing in our sexual health category," concluded Mr. Smith.
Where can active or retired military read articles, contribute content and sign up for special discounts? "Soldiers can go to BetterSex.com and click on our Military Corner graphic or go to Military Corner," explained Mr. Smith.
