We are extremely proud of Russell's accomplishment and his contributions to Porte Brown

Russell J. Wilson, Partner at the Chicago area accounting firm of Porte Brown LLC (http://www.portebrown.com), has earned one of the highest levels of certification for accountants in the construction industry. The Officers and the Board of Trustees of the Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals, Incorporated (ICCIFP) granted Mr. Wilson the professional certification of CCIFP (Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional). With CCIFP certification, Mr. Wilson joins a very select group of less than 500 people in the nation certified by ICCIFP for Financial Management and Accounting for the Construction Industry.

"We are extremely proud of Russell's accomplishment and his contributions to Porte Brown," said Bruce Jones, Managing Partner. "We have over 120 construction clients and it is important to Russell and all of Porte Brown that we provide our clients with the highest standards of best practices in their industry. Because of this certification, Porte Brown can provide clients in-depth knowledge and guidance in areas such as project management, safety issues, human resources, IT, and legal issues pertaining to the construction industry. It's a level of industry-specific expertise that the average accounting firm simply can't provide."

The Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals, Inc. (ICCIFP - http://www.iccifp.org) is a not-for-profit corporation established to promote the highest standards of construction financial management through the credentialing of construction financial professionals. ICCIFP is an independent, separately incorporated entity affiliated with the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) that issues credentials to individuals who successfully meet ICCIFP standards. Credentialed individuals may present themselves to the public as certified construction financial professionals.

"I joined CFMA and pursued the certification because it distinguishes our CPA firm from other firms in the Chicago area by arming us with all elements of construction advising," said Mr. Wilson. "It's a unique service and the only one of its kind throughout Illinois."
