The new contract specifies additional bed control assistance, and new improvements to further the growth of Anderson's surgical services. Compirion was originally retained to help improve ED throughput focusing on bed control, case management and patient satisfaction. Case management concentrated on time of day discharge planning in order to ensure bed availability during peak hours.
