The webinar discusses findings that show a commitment by dynamic small- and medium-sized organizations to ongoing training. It is seen by respondents as integral to keeping sales teams in tip-top closing shape. This is becoming especially important for organizations that operate in dynamic environments in which competitive and market needs change often. Survey found that:

  •     78 percent use live-onsite training to develop skills of the sales team.
  •     57 percent use live-online training to develop skills of the sales team.
  •     56 percent report that they have integrated onsite and online training to develop skills of the sales team.
  •     65 percent plan to invest more in live-onsite training in 2009.
  •     70 percent plans to invest more in live-online training in 2009.

These are among the central findings in a survey of 223 executives at high-growth companies conducted by BizTechReports.Com between August 18 and September 5, 2008. The results of the study indicate a growing consensus that more training conducted on a more frequent basis is especially important for organizations that are seeing the size and complexity of their transactions rise.
