TSB Magazine, the online resource for alpha male living, college life, dating and fashion, announces the top 10 pick-up artists of 2008. The controversial list compromises of dating coaches and gurus who are well known in the industry for their incredible ability to quickly meet and attract beautiful women.
"TSB Magazine has had the extraordinary opportunity to spend time observing some of the top pick up artist in the world. We attended the Pick Up Artist Super Conference back in October, and had several opportunities to attend dating boot camps held in New York City," says Anthony Almeida of TSB Magazine. "Lists like this are always subject to debate, but we've spent enough time trailing these various "PUAs" to feel confident in our choices."
The yearly awards are judged not only on the pick up artist's ability to perform in the field, but also reflect their ability to teach their secrets to the various students that attend their seminars and workshops.
One of the nominees, James Matador, was one of the co-hosts of VH1's The Pickup Artist 2. Most of the other nominees aren't as well known to mainstream media, but each has a bit of a cult following of their own.
"A lot of people ask us, 'Are they really that good?'" says Anthony Almeida. "The simple answer is yes. After spending quite a bit of time watching these guys interact in bar and club environments, you develop a profound respect for their ability to perform their craft."
TSB Magazine contains an extensive video library that provides infield footage of the various pick up artists in action. The video section not only provides a chance to see the guys on this year's list, but is also contains archived footage of some of the classic pickup artists like Mystery, Neil Strauss, Ross Jeffries, and David DeAngelo.
