SpectraSensors Reorganizes Sales and Marketing Team
Jorge Jones appointed Vice President Marketing & Business Development to head Strategic Marketing, Product Management and Business Development.
Houston, TX (PRWEB) January 1, 2009 -- Jorge Jones has been appointed Vice President Marketing & Business Development reporting to the CEO of SpectraSensors Inc. Jones has been with SpectraSensors for 3 years successfully leading the International expansion of the business. Reporting to Jones are the Directors of Product and Industry Management for SpectraSensors' two major market segments, natural gas and process. These two positions are at the core of the company's efforts to further develop and define products for the respective industries.

Sam Miller has been appointed Director, Product Line and Industry Management for Natural Gas. Sam has been a strong contributor to SpectraSensors success since 2005. Previously, his experience included product management, program management and engineering positions at National Oilwell Varco, Newport Corporation and Emcore PhotoVoltaics. Miller holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University and received an MBA from the University of California, Irvine.
Bill Jenko will perform as Director, Product Line and Industry Management for Process. Bill has served as Director of Customer Service for SpectraSensors, Inc. since joining the company in February 2008. Prior to SpectraSensors, Jenko held Technical, Marketing, Sales and Product Management positions at Yokogawa Corporation of America, Emerson Gas Chromatographs, Siemens Applied Automation and Varian Associates.
Jorge Jones 20 years of prior experience includes a diverse blend of general management, sales and marketing, and business development roles in entrepreneurial start up businesses as well as large corporations such as Emerson Co. Jones received an MBA degree from Rice University, Houston Texas in 2005 and a Mechanical Engineering degree from Universidad Nacional, Bogotá, Colombia.
