"As more and more server manufactures adopt DDR3 modules in their systems, pressure remains to design systems that would take minimum space while still maintaining maximum memory resources," said Michael Plaksin, ATP Vice President of Sales. "We are ready to work with our partners to meet their challenges and deliver memory solutions that meet their demand for smaller form factor memory modules, while exceeding expectations in terms of reliability and performance."

DDR3 VLP registered DIMMs' features:

  •     Data transfer rates double the speed of DDR2 modules
  •     Low power consumption
  •     Optimizing memory-intensive systems' performances with less power and faster access time
  •     Ideal for use in blade servers, embedded computing, and other space-constrained applications

ATP fully designs, manufactures, and provides support for all of its DRAM products which allows for strictly controlled quality standards, the highest level of technical support, and a fixed BOM (Bill of Materials) as needed. ATP products are tested and certified by all the leading server and motherboard manufacturers including Intel, Supermicro, Tyan, Uniwide, MSI, and Asus. This is significant for servers and networking manufacturers and solution builders which require a consistency in product build quality, performance, and compatibility.

The ATP DDR3 VLP Registered DIMMs will be available in 1GB through 4GB densities at the end of Q4 2008 or early Q1 2009. ATP's newest DRAM memory products include DDR3 Registered DIMMs and DDR3 ECC DIMMs for servers using the upcoming Intel Nehalem-based CPU and Tylersburg chipset. ATP's Flash products include waterproof, dustproof, shockproof, and extreme temperature resistant memory solutions. The newest addition to this lineup is the launch of the world's first recyclable USB drive, the ATP EarthDrive, in conjunction with an American Forests partnership program.
