Seattle, Wash. (PRWEB) January 6, 2009
Gable PR, a growing public relations firm known for its sophisticated and successful approach to managing complex programs, announced today that has opened a new office in Bellevue, WA to better serve the Pacific Northwest's strong technology and life science community.
The new office will be headed by account executive Liz Dill, a long-time Seattle resident who moves from the San Diego office. She will continue to play a key role in serving Gable PR's Southern California-based clients as well as build the agency's client base in the Pacific Northwest. She helped manage the agency's award-winning media relations program for the 2008 BIO International Convention, the world's largest gathering of the biotechnology community. Dill's additional clients include Pfizer Global Research and Development, TAG, and CONNECT, which spurs economic development among innovative companies in the San Diego life science, wireless and technology industries. Before joining Gable PR, Dill worked at Wagner Edstrom Worldwide, Seattle.
"Seattle is similar to San Diego is that innovation is strong in the biotech and high tech industries, which means companies often have complex stories to tell," said Tom Gable, CEO of Gable PR. "We've previously worked with interesting companies in the Seattle and Vancouver areas and believe having a permanent presence will give us an opportunity to bring our strategic approach to clients who want to position themselves for future growth and be able to tell their story to the right people in the right way."
The expansion comes on the heels of the agency's recent move into new and larger offices in San Diego as a result of strong performance and growth in 2008. During the past year, the agency managed media relations for the BIO International Convention and major programs for Pfizer, the Transportation Corridor Agencies, Sudberry Properties and Quarry Falls, CONNECT and Prize Capital.
