The Academy snagged prime real estate on the Macworld Expo floor next to Apple's space. Macworld Expo packed in more than 40,000 Mac enthusiasts and more than 500 exhibitors, giving the Academy's booth experienced major traffic.
Academy of Art University's Macworld 2009 booth is a cutting-edge, multimedia station where attendees had the exclusive opportunity to check out the latest dynamic student work from the film school, computer arts school, photography school, illustration school, architecture school, interior design school, fashion school, industrial design school, graphic design school, fine arts school, digital arts school, animation school, multimedia communications school and advertising school. Students from the Academy's online art school also had the opportunity to show their work to some of the biggest names in the industry.
Macworld Expo attendees were astounded by the boundless creativity and professional quality of Academy student work, much of which was created using Apple products. Located at the epicenter of culture and technology, Academy of Art University has its finger on the pulse of the latest innovations in technology and design. The majority of departments use almost entirely Macintosh computers and many Academy of Art University alumni have gone on to work for Apple as well as other exhibitors present at the expo.
