A wide ranging interview with media discussed a redesign of the entire business model. "E-Fense is recognized as a leading global security company," said Lauren LaFortuna, new Managing Director. "I came to E-Fense with the challenge of designing the company for fast growth."

E-Fense is the inventor of HELIX3. Since inception, there have been over 600,000 copies downloaded. CTO Drew Fahey explained, "Coming from computer forensics, incident response and counter intelligence, I felt that I could expand upon the electronic tools available to law enforcement. We see computer crime growing and must develop improved methods of investigation and forensics." LaFortuna adds, "Our board of directors, sees the massive distribution of Helix3 as a rare opportunity to safeguard the world while establishing a successful and profitable corporation. To have products that already are so well distributed is exciting. Given this opportunity to manage E-Fense, I couldn't resist. Everything is in place to lead the world in what we do."

In addition to LaFortuna, the company adds financial leadership with Michael Callas. Mr. Callas suggests that a successful growth organization requires sound financial modeling. Mr. Fahey is the founder of E-Fense. He maintains control and continuity over the product as CTO. "I am thrilled to see the hard work of the last eight years grow into this. Great ideas can not be used unless shared. The new team brings to us a history of successful international software marketing. I am in awe and determined to implement all of the product ideas that forums and clients have asked for."

Ms. LaFortuna suggests there is news to come including the introduction of HELIX PRO and corporate electronic monitoring product lines.
