IAS Premium Charters Offers Green Alternative in Private Aviation; Company's Pilatus PC-12 Aircraft Burns 90% Less Fuel Than Most Jets

IAS Premium Charters has made a commitment to keeping the skies cleaner, by flying the Pilatus PC-12, a turbo-prop aircraft that burns 40% less fuel per hour than comparable aircraft, without sacrificing cabin size or flight time. The Pilatus burns 60 gallons of fuel an hour, where other charter aircraft can burn more than 100 gallons, and a typical private jet burns 600 gallons an hour.

Costa Mesa, CA (PRWEB) January 7, 2009 -- IAS Premium Charters, a private aircraft company based in southern California, has made a commitment to keeping the skies cleaner, while delivering the luxurious and efficient services that its clients have come to expect.

"Private aviation doesn't have the best reputation with environmentalists, but we hope to change that perception," said company founder and CEO Arnold Leto. "Many of our clients are concerned about the environment, and our goal is to provide them with 'guilt-free' charter service that offers the standard of comfort and convenience that they desire."

IAS is the only company is California to fly the Pilatus PC-12, a turbo-prop aircraft that burns 40% less fuel per hour than comparable aircraft, without sacrificing cabin size or flight time. The Pilatus burns 60 gallons of fuel an hour, where other charter aircraft can burn more than 100 gallons, and a typical private jet burns 600 gallons an hour.

"There's no reason to trade luxury or safety for environmental responsibility," Leto said. "The PC-12 would be a first-class aircraft even without its fuel efficiency. The plane is actually bigger than a King Air B200 and nearly twice as large as a Citation Jet. And the reliability of the Pilatus is one reason why IAS has a perfect safety record."

IAS is in the process of opening new offices in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and New York. The company plans to have 30 Pilatus PC-12s located throughout the US within the next 18 months.
