Fakhimi & Associates Announces Filing of Class Action Lawsuit On Behalf of California Employees of Kings Seafood Company

The lawsuits alleges that Kings Seafood Company has not been paying proper wages to employees placed "on-call" and has been mandating tip sharing policies which may violate state and federal laws.

Fakhimi & Associates, a leading law firm representing the interests of employees in Southern California, has filed a representative class action lawsuit against Kings Seafood Company. The lawsuit alleges violations of California labor code and Division of Labor Standards and Enforcement provisions. More specifically, the law suit claims that Kings Fish House (a division of Kings Seafood Co.) employees are required to share (pool) their tips with employees who have no contact with the tables they serve and are placed on-call without being adequately compensated in violation of California and federal laws. The case has been filed in Orange County Superior Court under case number 30-2008-00232036-CU-OE-CXC .
