WhichBingo UK announces the 2008 'Online Bingo Oscars' Awards
WhichBingo has announced the results of the annual search for the online bingo 'Site of the Year' and 'New Site of the Year'. The awards cut across the whole online bingo spectrum, giving 'minnows' the chance to compete with the 'big boys'. The vote took place during December and bingo players were able to vote for any one of the 240+ existing UK sites, not just a pre-selected short-list, as well as all the international sites.

The awards cut across the whole online bingo spectrum, giving 'minnows' the chance to compete with the 'big boys'. The vote took place during December and bingo players were able to vote for any one of the 240+ existing UK sites, not just a pre-selected short-list, as well as all the international sites.
WhichBingo UK is proud to announce that Jackpotjoy has been awarded the title of 'UK Online Bingo Site of the Year 2008', Bingo Playground has been named 'UK New Online Bingo Site of the Year 2008'. In addition, Bingo Billy has been named 'International Online Bingo Site of the Year 2008'.
The WhichBingo Site of the Year awards are the online bingo industry's most prestigious and longest-running awards. This was the sixth year of the WhichBingo awards and the third year of the UK-only awards, with voters turning out in record numbers.
Noel Hayden, CEO of Jackpotjoy owners Gamesys, said of the award: "WhichBingo Site of the Year 2008 - it's a fantastic achievement - I've got a brilliant group of people working for Jackpotjoy and the best chat hosts in the business. We are all delighted with this award."
WhichBingo owner Phil Fraser said: "2008 has been a remarkable year for online bingo.
