Author Nicole C. Schroeder's recently released multicultural romance novel, In the Midst of a Storm, (Authorhouse, ISBN 9781438924083, $9.90, paperback) is the first of a six book series about love and understanding. The main focus of this particular novel is the town of Greensboro, Alabama. The citizens coexist beautifully Monday thru Saturday, but everyone prefers to attend church with their respective races on Sunday mornings. No one thought it was a problem. It had always been that way. However, their preferences soon reveal their prejudices when a new comer, Reverend Michael Green moves to town, and attempts to form a church where everyone is welcomed.
