Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes, California has announced a promising new catering director. Hoagland's experience has gained him the reputation of delivering perfect weddings and events.

Vice President of Marketing Kathy Van Vechten is pleased to announce Douglas Hoagland as director of catering and conference services for Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. Managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts, the luxury resort is situated along the California coastline in Palos Verdes. The 582-room property is scheduled to open in June 2009.

He is a Restaurant Hotel Management graduate of Purdue University.
