4D Technologies, developers of comprehensive CAD (Computer-Aided Design) self-paced e-learning tutorials for Autodesk® users, is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Murphy as Director of Content Development and Management. Mr. Murphy will be responsible for expanding the content and breadth of 4D Technologies' CADLearning™ tutorials for Autodesk's most popular products, including AutoCAD®, AutoCAD LT®, Revit®, Civil 3D® and Autodesk® Inventor®.
Mr. Murphy has been an independent CAD and Autodesk product trainer, educator, author, and evangelist for over 20 years. He has developed training programs for end users as well as instructors and Autodesk dealer/resellers. One of his many recent contract positions was Content Manager for the AUGI (Autodesk User Group International) CAD Camps in North America, where he was responsible for all aspects of determining, developing and ensuring quality of instructional content. He was also the lead speaker and content developer for the Autodesk University Speaker Readiness web cast series on successful class preparation and instructional delivery, and developed the AutoCAD 2007 and 2008 User and Expert exams. Education columnist for AUGI World magazine is yet another hat that Mr. Murphy wears, and he was the Education Columnist for CADALYST magazine for several years. Finally, Mr. Murphy has the distinction of having participated in every AUGI CAD Camp and Autodesk University since their inceptions.
