Dental Leader Gives Back Through Employee Community Service Efforts

Aspen Dental exemplifies corporate citizenship through network-wide outreach program

More than 80 Aspen Dental offices, totaling more than 500 employees and family members, ended 2008 by giving back to their local communities through Aspen Dental's "Creating Holiday Smiles" program.

Held in conjunction with various community service organizations across the Aspen Dental network, the Creating Holiday Smiles program is an effort in which Aspen Dental employees volunteer their time in the communities where Aspen Dental offices are located.

"Our affiliated dentists and staff are committed to improving the quality of life in communities where Aspen Dental patients work and live," said Bob Fontana, President and CEO, Aspen Dental Management, Inc. "We appreciate the participation of so many Aspen team members. Our affiliated doctors, office managers, hygienists and several other staff members really pulled together to create smiles outside of their offices for those most in need during the holiday season."

Aspen Dental offices from Maine to Arizona joined forces to assist organizations, including The Salvation Army; Rescue Mission; Adopt-A-Family; Ronald McDonald House Charities; Toys for Tots; "We Care" Telethon; and several community soup kitchens. Aspen Dental participants wrapped and distributed gifts, prepared and served meals, and collected food.
