InventHelp®, America's leading inventor service company, announces that two of its clients, inventors from Fridley, Minn., have designed a convenient storage accessory for use with hand trucks and other utility carts. This invention is patented and a prototype is available.
The "Worker's Assistant" would enable the user to keep work-related items, such as tools, nuts and bolts, clipboards and pencils, readily available. The device would ensure that frequently needed objects were close at hand, thereby eliminating the need to travel back and forth repeatedly to retrieve forgotten items. Additionally, it would free up the user's hands for other tasks.
The Worker's Assistant would consist of a rectangular, basket-like structure measuring 9 inches high, 7 inches long and 3 inches wide. Composed of aluminum, plastic or other materials, it would feature a durable, yet lightweight, construction. Two removable hook-and-loop fasteners would be positioned on the back of the unit, which would allow it to be attached to a hand truck, dolly or similar cart. These fasteners also would allow the device to be transferred between different carts quickly and easily. Once attached to the cart, the user could place a variety of items inside the basket for easy transport.
The inventors were inspired to develop the unit based on a professional need. "My son works as a maintenance person, and he always puts tools and other objects in his pockets, which causes them to rip and tear," said one inventor. "He came up with this idea to provide a better way to organize and transport supplies."
InventHelp® is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor.
