Training technology company offers new tools to manage employee education in the dairy industry

As a new member of the IDFA, it is an honor for Alchemy to support the IDFA Dairy Forum and their focus on food safety

Alchemy Systems, the leader in innovative training solutions for the global workforce, will be co-sponsoring the chairman's lecture for the 2009 International Dairy Food Association's (IDFA) Dairy Forum with Silliker Inc., a leading industry provider of testing, consulting, auditing, research and training services. The IDFA Dairy Forum takes place in Orlando, Florida January 11- 14, 2009, and enables Alchemy to present their food safety training and compliance management solution, SISTEMâ„¢, to the attending producers, processors and policy makers.

"As a new member of the IDFA, it is an honor for Alchemy to support the IDFA Dairy Forum and their focus on food safety," said David I. Perl, COO of Alchemy Systems. "We are looking forward to meeting innovative leaders in the dairy industry during this event and learning more about those companies that are ready to take the next steps toward improving their food and workplace safety initiatives."

In 2003, Alchemy created the all-in-one training solution, SISTEM, to give food manufacturers the ability to cost-effectively tackle their most challenging problems, including safety training and compliance management. Since then, SISTEM has evolved into a powerful tool, advancing food and workplace safety for more than one million workers in progressive, forward thinking companies.

SISTEM is equipped with over 90 interactive courses in English and Spanish, which enables employers to test each employee's comprehension and retention of the industry-specific content. Several of the courses have been co-developed with Silliker including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP): Proper Handling of Food Allergens, Hygiene and Sanitation and Keeping Foods Safe from Harmful Bacteria. In addition, SISTEM includes an integrated web-based Learning Management System (LMS) that automatically documents all training results and provides customizable reports for downloading in various formats.
