Northeast Concrete Products Association Announces New Name, New Look
Northeast Concrete Products Association unveils new brand identity and website. NEPCA represents manufacturers of precast concrete products and companies that provide equipment, supplies and services to the industry. The organization provides professional development, leadership and networking events for concrete manufacturers, distributors and those engaged in business related to concrete products.
East Taunton, MA (PRWEB) January 9, 2009 -- Northeast Concrete Products Association (NCPA) will change its name to Northeast Precast Concrete Association (NEPCA) as of Monday, January 12. NCPA president Greg Stratis says that the new name more accurately reflects the products that member firms bring to market. After the decision to change the name of the organization, they also acquired the domain www.nepca.com, where the new web site will be seen.
The new name is part of a strategic marketing initiative and rebranding which includes all new elements for a graphic identity, collateral materials, tradeshow booth, banners, and a website with a communication infrastructure. NCPA worked with Altos Marketing Group of Bedford, NH to develop a new logo and create the newly designed and interactive website. "We had worked with them in the past on our website and thought they would be a perfect fit for marketing and rebranding the organization," says Stratis.
NCPA and Altos staff worked together to develop a brand that would stand out as a resource for engineers and project specifiers as well as the organizationʼs current and potential members. Under its new name, NEPCA will offer more information on stormwater management systems and Going Green with precast concrete products. While in the past NCPA has served as a resource for end users, Stratis says the organization hopes to expand offerings for engineers and specifiers as well.
The organizationʼs new website, slated to go live January 12, includes an access area for engineers and specifiers to view site plans and CAD drawings. The new site offers more interaction for members, such as online membership registration and renewal, event registration, and a searchable membership directory.
"As an organization, weʼre trying to take a major step," says Stratis. "We needed to develop more sophisticated marketing tools to appeal to new audiences." The organizationʼs new name and look will be officially introduced to members at the 10th annual winter meeting in Marlborough, MA on Tuesday, January 13.
