Centennial, CO (PRWEB) January 10, 2009
Integrated Printing Solutions (IPS) has announced the promotion of three of its top executives, including company president and founder Sev Spagnolie, along with the appointment of a new vice president of manufacturing.
"These changes will enable IPS to better meet the needs of its existing clients, while helping to attract and serve new clients in 2009, and for years to come," said Spagnolie, who moves from president and chief executive officer of the company to chairman of the board of directors (http://www.denverips.com).
David J. Gandini was promoted to president of the company, which employs more than 70 in its 36,000 square foot headquarters outside of Denver. He had served as vice president of sales and general manager.
Bill Konves was promoted to vice president of sales and marketing. He had served as vice president of client strategy. And John Benjamin was named the company's new vice president of manufacturing. Other members of the executive team are Jerry Wenzel, vice president of finance, and Scott Bennett, vice president of business operations.
"I'm delighted with the accomplishments made by the management team and I'm thrilled that John has joined our organization," Spagnolie said.
"Despite this year's slowing economy, I firmly believe that Integrated Printing Solutions will perform beyond expectations," he added. "Our employees, from executives on down, are committed to this company, which has enabled us to continue to grow."
Spagnolie started IPS (http://www.denverips.com) in 1986 convinced his extensive experience in the printing industry, along with his innovative business approach, could lead to faster times to market and significant cost savings for large print users.
After several successful years as a print broker, and in an effort to stay competitive and ahead of the market, Spagnolie invested in internal manufacturing and moved in a new direction -- plastic card production and personalization. The decision paid off and today IPS is one of the fastest growing independently owned companies in the print industry.
Gandini, the company's new president, joined IPS in 2002. A 19-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, he has extensive experience building and growing young companies.
Before joining IPS, Gandini was the chief operating officer of FirstWorld Communications where he oversaw sales and field operations, mergers and acquisitions, and internal expansion. His experience also includes executive management positions with several other major players in the fiber optic and technology outsources sectors.
Konves joined IPS in 2004 and has been responsible for account management and business development for Fortune 500 retail marketing clients. He was employed previously by GE Money, Victoria's Secret Stores and Value City Department Stores.
Benjamin joined IPS in January, bringing more than 30 years of manufacturing and account management experience to Integrated Printing Solutions. Before joining IPS, he was director of operations, vice president and general manager at Cenveo Inc. and account executive with Spectrographics Inc.
"IPS is truly unique from other companies because of its people and their passion for excellence in client services," Spagnolie said. "Our approach and philosophy fosters an environment that enables strategic thinking and creativity along with our project management expertise - all of which are added values for our clients."
