FanStory.com Introduces Free Online Writing Contests

FanStory.com has introduced a better and safer way to participate in writing contests. FanStory.com now provides members with access to free online writing contests. FanStory.com also offers writers an community to receive detailed feedback.

Ocean Grove, NJ (PRWEB) January 12, 2009 -- FanStory.com now provides members with access to free online writing contests.

All to common on the Internet is the "Pay to Win" trap where writers must pay a fee in order to enter a contest. Many of these contests offer uncertain, questionable or misleading outcomes. To help its members avoid this, FanStory.com now provides over 50 writing contests each month that can be entered for free. The contests include challenges for poets, short story writers and even novel writers. Information on contests.

"We wanted to provide a safe and comfortable location for our writers to participate in writing contests." said Tom Ens, President and CEO of FanStory.com.

Contests are designed to be challenging, interesting and fun. Some are even created by site members. Writers get feedback for everything they post including writing contest entries.

FanStory.com is a writing community that was founded in the year 2000. Some of the features FanStory.com offers includes:

Feedback - Writers receive feedback for everything they share. All forms of writing welcomed including poetry, fiction, non-fiction, book chapters, and scripts.

Contests - Writing contests with cash prizes. Over 50 new writing contests are opened (and always free) every month. In addition, a new writing prompt contest is announced daily.

Rankings - All writers are ranked. The feedback writers receive is used to determine their rank.

Membership on FanStory.com is $6.95 per month with discounts offered for one year or two year memberships. Writers can start with free membership to find out more about the site before upgrading.
