Urban Darling Introduces Eco-Chic Styling
With heightened interest in everything "green," and increased demand for earth-friendly concepts in styling, Urban Darling has introduced Eco-Chic Wardrobe Styling to its choice of styling packages. By expanding their styling repertoire with eco-friendly expertise from one-of-a-kind pieces of updated vintage jewelry, to all things fashion, Urban Darling anticipates more clients are looking to green their wardrobe. Corinne Phipps, Urban Darling president and lead Stylist, says, "We help clients look for anything that is reusable. We find stylish pieces in clients’ own closets, as well as stores that recycle clothes or use fair trade and environment-friendly fabrics. This type of shopping is becoming more acceptable, even at the mall."
A consulting encounter with an Urban Darling Eco-Chic stylist includes having a professional eye take a good look at a client's wardrobe and closet contents. Items no longer in use or out of date find a new fit and function with the wardrobe, or a new home. A shopping trip with the stylist is intended to find new items for clients to enhance their current wardrobe, all in the context of ecologically sound fabrics and fair minded business practices.
"We're ahead of the curve on this one," says Phipps, "I actually have not seen this type of styling out in the world yet. Anything we can do to support the green effort is definitely worthwhile." From the back of the closet to the finest shops, and everything in between, Urban Darling outfits clients in a way that helps them buy smart: finding earth-friendly items that seamlessly match and update the client's personal style.
Corinne and her team of Urban Darlings, are life-long fashion dynamos, who have thankfully taken their talent public. The team can be found from San Francisco, up and down the peninsula and in and around San Jose. While the eco-craze begins to take shape, these Eco-Chic women are ready to transform. As Phipps says, "Eco-Chic is not just trendy, it's important, and it's forever."
