Pasadena "LifeQuest for Total Health" Seminar Features Joon W. Rhee MD; Low-Cost Panel of Blood Tests to Precede Seminar

Noted physician to present free "LifeQuest for Total Health" Seminar in Pasadena 7:30 p.m. Jan. 25-29 to "motivate with the latest findings on how individuals can transform their lives" with lifestyle solutions. Low-cost blood test panel and prostate screening will be offered one week before the seminar starts, at another Pasadena location, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.

Glendale, CA (PRWEB) January 12, 2009 -- "A majority of the top killers in America--such as heart disease, cancer, obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure leading to stroke, arthritis, depression and addictions--come from lifestyle issues," said Joon W. Rhee, MD, PhD, MPH, a faculty member of Loma Linda School of Medicine & Public Health, and director of the JWRhee Wellness Clinic in Redlands.
In fast-paced evening sessions at the Pasadena City College Sexson Auditorium (1570 East Colorado Blvd.) January 25-29, Rhee's presentations will pair chronic health conditions with affordable lifestyle solutions. Admission is free and free parking will be available in the college's parking structures on So. Bonnie Ave. Rhee's conversational presentations, which will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m. each evening, will focus on the "how to" of overcoming or avoiding lifestyle problems with lifestyle solutions. "The goal of the presentations is for participants to become motivated with the latest findings on how one can transform one's life," Rhee noted.

A special low-cost panel of blood tests will be offered one week before the seminar starts, on Sunday, Jan. 18, from 8 a.m. to noon. The blood tests will screen for thyroid function, metabolism rate, hemoglobin, coronary heart disease risk and prostate cancer. Costs for the full blood test panel will be $30. Prostate screening will be $20. Lab services will be provided by an accredited lab and will be offered on a cash basis. Location for the tests will at the Pasadena Adventist Church Fellowship Hall, 1280 East Washington Blvd., Pasadena. Dr. Rhee will discuss test results during the LifeQuest for Total Health Seminar meetings.
