In a display of unity and humanitarianism, Valerie Orsoni, CEO & Founder of LeBootCamp, is sponsoring two participating teams in the upcoming 4L Trophy event, which commences on February 19th, 2009.
Established in 1997, 4L Trophy is a humanitarian rally with Renault 4 cars. Its objective is to drive across the Moroccan desert to provide children with school supplies. The event includes 1000 teams, accompanied by professionals (engineers, doctors, journalists and TV crews), driving through France, Spain and the Moroccan desert - a total distance of nearly 6000 km. This year's competition will be the 12th 4L Trophy event, and the teams will follow a new route marked out by the organization, but kept confidential until D-day. Participants will be driving in the Moroccan desert from February 19th to March 1st.
Beyond the adventure and sporting dimension, competitors also participate for social and humanitarian reasons. The objective of the event is schooling 3000 Moroccan children, with each team aiming at delivering 50kg of school equipment. Each year more than 50 tons of school supplies are brought into Morocco.
