Beer is 'Block & Tackle' Beverage, But Cocktails Are Super for the Big Game

International Beverage USA, with the help of some noted Manhattan-based mixologists, have created the following Mekhong Thai Spirit cocktails with a Florida citrus flair that will put extra points on your menu board for the "big game."

Tampa Bay Third and Long
2 1/3 shots Mekhong
½ shot Fresh squeezed Lime Juice
Ginger beer (or ginger ale)
1 dash of Angostura Bitters
3 lime wheels
Directions: Pour Mekhong and lime juice into a long tall Collins Glass. Add
ice and lime wheels. Cover with a shaker tin and shake briefly. Top off
with ginger beer and add bitters. Serve with a straw.
Tampa Bay Thai Score
1 ½ shots Mekhong
¾ shots Fresh squeezed lime juice
¾ shots Maraschino Liqueur
½ shots Passion fruit puree
Directions: Pour Mekhong and the rest of the ingredients into a mixing
glass. Add ice and shake vigorously for 7-8 seconds. Strain into a
chilled martini-cocktail glass. Garnish with half orange wheel and a
cherry.
Tampa Bay Thai Breaker
2 shots Mekhong
1 shot Fresh squeezed Lime Juice
1 shot Cointreau
Cucumber wheels
Seasonal fruits (watermelon, tangerine, etc.)
Ginger ale
Directions: Combine Mekhong, Cointreau, lime juice, mint, fruits and
cucumber in a Collins Glass. Add ice and cover with a shaker tin. Shake
briefly and vigorously. Top of with Ginger Ale. Serve long with a straw.
Tampa Bay Thai-me Out
3 shots Mekhong
1 shot sweet (Italian) Vermouth
¾ shot Benedictine
Orange twist
Directions: Pour Mekhong and the rest of the ingredients into a mixing
glass. Add ice and stir for 35-40 revolutions. Strain into a chilled
martini-cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
Tampa Bay Half Thai-me
1 ½ shots Mekhong
¾ shot Fresh squeezed Lime Juice
¾ shot Cherry Heering
½ shot Benedictine
½ shot Cointreau
2 shots Pineapple juice
2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
Orange half wheel
Directions: Combine Mekhong and the rest of the ingredients in a
Hurricane Glass. Add ice and cover with a shaker tin. Shake briefly and vigorously. Top off with dashes of Bitters. Serve long with a straw and garnish with an Orange half wheel.
