Dave's Garden announced today that they have formed a partnership with GardenBookstore.net. Books reviewed by members of Dave's Garden are now available to purchase directly through the website.

We are committed to matching leading endemic offerings to the members and targeted audience of our social media sites. Extending the Dave's Garden Bookworm is a natural point of integration for GardenBookstore

Dave's Garden the largest online community of gardeners, has partnered with Nashville-based GardenBookstore.net to expand its access to garden books and reviews.

Since 2002, Dave's Garden has provided gardeners with a comprehensive database of gardening books through its feature, The Garden Bookworm, going far beyond the usual lists of popular titles. The Garden Bookworm enables gardeners to search and browse through dozens of garden-related categories, covering everything from African Violet care to landscaping and design, along with regional advice, sustainable agriculture practices and xeriscaping tips.

Dave Whitinger, founder of Dave's Garden, is enthusiastic about the announcement. "Partnering with the GardenBookstore.net fits with our mission of providing the best and most accurate information to gardeners. Our members and visitors will now be able to buy any of the books they read about in our Bookworm feature."

Readers can now search for even more books by author, publisher, or title, and browse a category to compare similar books and see recommendations from fellow gardeners before they buy. Another unique Bookworm feature allows members of Dave's Garden to submit new book titles and be the first to publish a review. Authors, editors and publishers can add their own personal notes to their book listings. To celebrate this partnership, Dave's Garden members will highlight their own personal favorite garden books, spotlighted in the free weekly newsletter emailed to its large subscriber list each Monday.

"We are committed to matching leading endemic offerings to the members and targeted audience of our social media sites. Extending the Dave's Garden Bookworm is a natural point of integration for GardenBookstore," says Jeff Bennett, NameMedia President.

The GardenBookstore.net website is part of the Waynick Book Group, the parent company of leading gardening publisher Cool Springs Press. Since its inception in 1996, Cool Springs Press has been the national leader in publishing state and region specific gardening guides providing targeted advice specific to where gardeners live, plant and grow.
