The Law Offices of Morley J. Nair announces the launch of their new website http://www.h1bplanet.com. This website is wholly dedicated to matters relating to H-1B classification, which is the most commonly used non-immigrant work visa, granted to foreign nationals to work in the United States in professional occupations for a temporary period of time.
In addition to comprehensive information about H1B visas, the website has a discussion board, a blog, and an exhaustive Frequently Asked Questions section. It also offers a free 10-minute consultation for potential clients.
Founded by Attorney Morley J. Nair, The Law Offices of Morley J. Nair has been in existence for more than 11 years, and represents clients in matters relating to Immigration Law. The firm serves both corporate and individual clients in all the 50 States.
"The new website, which contains information on various aspects of the H-1B visa program, is meant mainly to educate users," said Attorney Morley J. Nair. "We believe this will help our potential clients as well as others to make informed decisions about their future course of action."
H-1B visas are granted by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services to foreign nationals to work in "specialty occupations" (i.e., an occupation that requires a minimum U.S. bachelor's degree or equivalent). Such occupations include jobs in IT industry such as software engineers, computer programmers, systems analysts, network administrators, and database administrators, and other jobs such as accountants, teachers, scientists, engineers, etc. At the present time, the worldwide annual quota for such visas is 65,000, out of which 6,800 visas are reserved for nationals of Singapore and Chile. In addition, there is a special quota of 20,000 visas available for holders of master's or higher degree from US graduate schools. Further, Petitions filed by certain exempt employers are not subject to this quota.
"We are timely and sensitive to the needs of our clients, and respond the same day to most phone messages and emails," said Attorney Nair. "We have a strict 24-hour turnaround policy on documents, and needless to say, our clients feel valued every step of the way."
The Law Offices of Morley J. Nair has processed thousands of H-1B visas. In addition to H-1B visas, the firm's practice includes other areas of employment-based immigration, such as L-1 visas, PERM Labor Certification, and processing permanent residence (popularly known as "Green Cards") in the first, second, and third employment-based preference categories. To service clients in these areas the firm has another website http://www.visaworks.com.
"As the filing deadline of April 1 approaches for quota-subject cases, we get a number of calls from potential clients seeking information on different issues related to H1B visas," said Shailaja Nair, paralegal. "We trust this website will help our potential clients enormously by answering their general questions and providing guidance."
