Tropics Software Hires New Vice President
Industry Veteran Trae Jones Tapped to Lead Sales & Marketing Strategy
Sarasota, FL (PRWEB) January 15, 2009 -- Tropics Software Technologies, a national software company specializing in worker's compensation systems, announced today that Trae Jones has joined the firm as Tropics' Vice President of Sales and Marketing. The addition of Mr. Jones to the Tropics management team illustrates the organization's continued growth and ongoing commitment to the worker's compensation software market.

Mr. Jones brings a wide array of experience in the insurance software arena to the Tropics organization. Most recently, Mr. Jones led the Insurance Practice of ATSC (formerly Appix, Inc.), where he was responsible for overseeing the firm's sales, marketing, management and delivery functions. During his 11 year tenure with the organization, Mr. Jones performed numerous vendor evaluation projects, with particular emphasis on policy/claims administration systems. Mr. Jones holds a Bachelor's Degree from James Madison University and an MBA from Loyola College. Prior to his career with ATSC, Mr. Jones worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Washington, DC.
