Laredo, TX (PRWEB) January 16, 2009
Sara and Eduardo Hinojosa, owners of DIGIKIDS® in the Laredo Area are proud to announce that Apple Bee Development Center, Intelligym Learning Center, Kiddieland Academy, Little People Daycare, Madrigal's Montessori CDC, My Lil Big School House, My Little School of Minds, Nenita's Schoolhouse, Peewees Schoolhouse, Right Start and School of Wonder have joined more than a hundred daycares nationwide in offering its families a highly prized emergency preparedness kit to their parents. The DIGIKIDS® Child ID Program is the most advanced and effective child safety ID program available today.
Christine Tamez, Director of Little People Day Care Center North says, "Parents were very excited to be able to get such an innovative protection for their children. It is an invaluable tool for them. As a Day Care owner, it is very important for me to provide the opportunity for our parents to get this service, because they recognize that their children safety is our top priority".
DIGIKIDS® offers an ID card, and a child safety CD following the guidelines of National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) that allows parents to quickly provide law enforcement officials, other agencies, and the media with two high-resolution digital photos along with medical and identifying information to aid in recovery efforts. Included is a Be Prepared Kit with a DNA kit, fingerprint, and dental chart. The CD makes the difference between having all the information instantly and spending precious minutes finding current pictures and struggling to convert them to a digital format.
Guadalupe Vargas, Director of Peewees Schoolhouse stated, "The program was unquestionably a success here at our school. We discovered parents and educators alike were very comforted to know that we took priority for their kid's safety as soon as they heard that we were supporting this event in-school".
Every ID is processed at the school in about two minutes. Nothing is ever taken offsite to finish, so no follow-up delivery is needed. "The space they took in the building was minimal and only students that had been registered for the program were to be taken out for a simple photograph, making less than a bit of commotion." Vargas said.
Rosa Flores, Owner of Right Start says, "We were very impressed with your professionalism and most of all your ability to work with our students. We usually have children crying when 'strangers' are here but they felt safe with you".
Since February 2008, Sara and Eduardo Hinojosa have been helping parents protect their children with DIGIKIDS® in the counties of Webb, Jim Hogg, Zapata, Starr and Hidalgo in South Texas. DIGIKIDS® is present in nineteen states.
