Continuing its commitment to the consumer marketplace and working with exceptional entrepreneurs, venture capital firm Maveron LLC today announced the addition of Will Hunsinger as an EIR. Hunsinger, who has been a CEO as well as on the senior leadership team of the Gap Inc. and a number of entrepreneurial ventures, brings to the firm senior operating expertise in the digital media, advertising and e-commerce arenas. He will be based in San Francisco and will focus on consumer digital media, gaming, Internet services and e-commerce ventures.
Over recent years, Maveron has worked with a range of well-known consumer brands with a digital focus including eBay, drugstore.com, Capella Education Company and Shutterfly. Other Maveron portfolio companies include VideoEgg, The Motley Fool, NextFoods and well-known consumer retail brands Potbelly Sandwich Works and Pinkberry.

Most recently, Hunsinger served as CEO of Maveron portfolio company Adeze. Previously, Will was the General Manager of Gap.com where he grew the online sales to $300 million and was responsible for all aspects of the online business. Hunsinger was a member of Overture senior management team as well as Business.com.
Hunsinger will be looking for new consumer investment opportunities for Maveron and be part of the investment team analyzing potential investments.
