Prior to ShopLocal, Akin held senior sales and management positions with Experian and InfoUSA, and has been a presenter at advertising/marketing conferences.
Thomas Rasinen joins Clix as Advertising Campaign Manager. Thomas is a skilled PPC campaign manager who's a Certified AdWords professional, and focuses on complex PPC campaign construction, ad copy and landing page testing, and client communications.
Mae Flint joins the team as Advertising Campaign Manager, with responsibility for creating, managing and optimizing PPC campaigns. In addition, Mae is responsible for design and creation of display ads, creating high-response, dynamic ads for Clix clients.
These staff additions will help accelerate Clix Marketing's growth in a year that will see the establishment of an office in New York City, the addition of features and functionality to its Dynamo dynamic landing page technology, and expansion of offerings to include landing page, conversion path and shopping process design, testing and optimization.
About Clix Marketing.
Established in 2004, Clix Marketing is an advertising agency focused on pay-per-click and pay-per-action online advertising. Founded by advertising expert David Szetela, Clix is one of the few agencies that specialize exclusively in pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, creating and optimizing clients' Google AdWords, Yahoo! Search Marketing and Microsoft adCenter advertising campaigns. Clix is also one of the few agencies paid according to their performance - as a percentage of profit or a commission per sales lead generated. Szetela's articles on PPC advertising have been published in MediaPost, Search Engine Land, MarketingSherpa, on his company's blog, and in his weekly Profitable PPC column published by Search Engine Watch. He is the Principal PPC Editor of the paper and online publication SEMJ.org, is a frequent speaker at Search and Advertising industry events like Search Engine Strategies, SMX, PPC Summit and MarketingSherpa Summit, and he hosts a weekly radio show called PPC Rockstars, distributed by Webmasterradio.fm and iTunes.
