Two Florida IT companies merge to form FLUENT IT. David Cochrane & Robin Mizerak, principals of the new FLUENT, are leveraging their combined forces to support small to mid-size companies and institutions through a full-spectrum of IT services. FLUENT is focusing their efforts on shoring up network and security weaknesses created by dramatic downsizing, shifting and re-directing of companies in transition.

On January 1, 2009 D&K Enterprise, a leader in business technology solutions, became Fluent. According to David Cochrane, President of the new entity, "In order to better reflect our expanding range of capabilities we're changing our name to Fluent Business Solutions. We have also merged with South Florida Business Solutions, Inc. to provide a broader range of expertise, products, and support for our customers."

According to Robin Mizerak, President of the former South Florida Business Solutions, "It's a critical moment in the world of IT with the volume of companies shifting & contracting, many mission-critical functions are in jeopardy. We've defined our niche within several verticals as a strong stop-gap solution for companies in transition - be they growing, shrinking or shifting."

With the additional knowledge base and assets that South Florida Business Solutions brings to the table, Cochrane says he expects a modest jump in business this first quarter, and notes that Fluent is ideally positioned for it.

Combined under the banner of Fluent, the group will be moving deeper into several of the vertical markets where they are already known, as well as expanding their offerings into new industries.

Fluent is currently active in Medical Industry IT Services, Aerospace IT Services, Educational / Institutional IT Services, and Office Suite Enterprises.

In addition to its expanded range of services, Fluent is investing in industry-best customer service and Help Desk strategies to improve their already best-in-class response and quality ratings.

According to Mizarak, "We believe that it's crucial to be agile and responsive to these fluid economic conditions and that strategic investments in our core strengths position Fluent optimally for our customers."
