We want to make the site as inclusive as possible, because people are starting to wake up was launched in July 2008 by business partners Sandie Hardman and Pam Stewart. The site carries a variety of Egyptian cotton bedding and other cotton products. The most recent update to the site has been the December launch of their company blog,

"We have been involved in organic products for a long time," said Hardman. "And this site is a logical extension of that interest. It's a great vehicle for us and others to support organic products, raise awareness about global sustainability, and reduce our carbon footprints."

Emphasizing the scope of the business, Stewart was quick to point out that My Cozy Sheets and their other organic sites go far beyond the sale of bedding.

"Organics are the way of the future, and we want to promote the awareness of how important chemical-free products are to our bodies," said Stewart.

"We're not just two women who decided to make a sheet site," added Hardman. "We're interested in establishing a site that represents a supportive environmental system. Buying organic cotton bedding is one small step everyone can take to be more eco-conscious."

Accommodating a wide range of customers, the site features a variety of styles and bedding patterns. Offering multi-item packages such as the "Bed in a Bag" to a single pillow case, the site is concerned with offering options for every consumer.

"We want to make the site as inclusive as possible, because people are starting to wake up," said Hardman. "They're realizing that we can't abuse our planet and still have it be sustainable."

In order to offer their customers more general information about everything from bedding products to environmental issues, the site has launched a company blog at

"This blog will stress that if you buy quality, you don't have to purchase as often," said Hardman. "Properly treated, these sheets can last up to fifteen years. A purchase from our site is environmentally sound, and it supports the longevity of a product, which in turn reduces our carbon footprint."
