VivaReal.us, the leading real estate site tailored to the growing Hispanic community in the United States now provides access to thousands of foreclosure listings.

VivaReal.us is currently the fastest growing bilingual real estate website in the United States. During the last quarter of 2008 it tripled unique visitors and quadrupled page views. With the addition of foreclosure listings and its continued online marketing efforts, the site expects to sustain its rapid growth in 2009 already hitting record highs during the first part of January.

The Hispanic market in the United States is a large group, comprising over 45 million people and an estimated 1 trillion dollars in purchasing power by 2010. Currently, there is a scarcity of resources designed for this community to help them access foreclosure listings. Latinos are a younger population than the rest of the United States, about 28 years old on average. This means they are entering their prime home buying years. Foreclosures in cities Miami or Los Angeles may result in good opportunities for those starting out. The losses of many may result in long-lasting beginnings for first time buyers.

VivaReal.us has been proactive in providing resources and information about how to avoid foreclosure. In 2007, the site released numerous videos about the topic advising its visitors in Spanish about what steps to take if they are behind on their payments or at risk of foreclosure. Last year VivaReal also helped NAHREP (the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals) to put out the Spanish version of the book, The American Nightmare: Strategies for Preventing, Surviving and Overcoming Foreclosure. VivaReal translated the entire book from English to Spanish.
