North Coast Music Festival To Use Texting Services from to Give Fans the Power to Select Ms. North Coast 2009

North Coast Music Festival has selected texting service to conduct a text vote as part of the selection process for Ms. North Coast 2009. Text voting is becoming an increasingly popular way to create a fun interactive experience for audiences.

North Coast Music Festival announced that it has selected the services of as the festival's texting services provider.

North Coast Music Festival will take place in Mall B and C in Cleveland, Ohio, Aug 7-9, 2009. Mall B and C are located next to the City Hall, and across from Browns Stadium, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum. With over 50 confirmed bands in multi stages, the festival is expected to attract over 45,000 fans.

The Festival will also have a Model Contest to select the Ms. North Coast 2009. Starting in March, ISCEA Entertainment, the producers of North Coast Music Festival and Ms. North Coast pageant, will host pre-casting events at various venues throughout the North Coast Region. First such pre-casting session will take place as part of the Jesse Hart 2009 Tour in Chicago, Cleveland, and Columbus, March 26-29, 2009. Ms. North Coast semi-finals will take place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio on Aug. 6 prior to the Festival Pre Party. Finalists will get a chance to shine during the festival. Many fashion industry notables are expected in Cleveland that week.

Each of the contestants will be given a texting code that will belong to them for the duration of the pageant. Fans will be able to text their vote to move the contestant to the next round. Text votes count towards 50% of the score. The other 50% will come from the celebrity judging panel.
