SHOP 'n SAVE announced today the January 24 grand opening of a new SHOP 'n SAVE Express in Central West Virginia, bringing its area store count to nine. The opening of this new SHOP 'n SAVE location resulted in more than 35 new jobs for the region.
Store owners, Craig and Linda Phillips will welcome customers and employees when they officially open the 23,000 square-foot store with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8 a.m. Grand-opening activities will include in-store demonstrations, sampling of signature items from every department, and giveaways.
"We look forward to being a part of the community, and we are eager to begin serving our new customers," said Mr. Phillips. "We are confident that our new employees and our new shoppers will find a welcome home with us."
SHOP 'n SAVE customers at the Philippi location will have all of their favorite branded departments such as Sunny Fields Produce and the Neighborhood Butcher Shop featuring only U.S.D.A. Choice Beef, Downtown Deli and the Country Corner Bake Shoppe. A hot foods department with daily lunch specials will also be available. In addition to their favorite food departments, a customer service department that includes lottery, gift cards, fax service, stamps and Rug Doctor will also provide shoppers with the benefit of convenience. The new store will offer a five percent discount for senior citizens every Tuesday, and will also offer double coupons up to 99 cents.
Located at 1 Swamp Lane, Philippi, W.Va. 26416, the new store will be open Sunday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
