SGT Expands Management and Sales Team

SGT, a leading global software vendor in the broadcast and media industry, has made three new appointments to its management and sales team. These key appointments are set to build on the company's success in the development and delivery of high quality products and services, and to further strengthen SGT's presence in local markets across Europe and on an international level.

SGT, a leading global software vendor in the broadcast and media industry, has made three new appointments to its management and sales team: François Chiche, with more than 20 years of experience in leading management roles in the IT software industry and international markets, joined SGT on September 1, 2008 as Vice President Sales and Marketing. In the role of Regional Sales Manager, Northern Europe, Richard de Jong is now responsible for business development and sales in Belgium, The Netherlands and Scandinavia. Finally, Greg Kontusz joined the company in December 2008 as Regional Sales Manager for the Central European region (Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Luxembourg).

These key appointments are set to build on the company's success in the development and delivery of high quality products and services, and to further strengthen SGT's presence in local markets across Europe and on an international level.

François Chiche (46) graduated from l'École Des Cadres du Commerce et des Affaires Économiques in Paris and brings an in-depth knowledge of international sales and business development to SGT. Prior to joining SGT, Mr. Chiche was Director Europe for 170 Systems, a global financial process automation software vendor. Formerly, he was with Adobe Systems as Southern Europe Director of Solution Sales and, previously, as Country Manager. He also worked for IBM France as Director, Data Management West Region (France and Benelux), which he joined when Informix Software France, was acquired. He was with Ardent Software as Director of Worldwide Business Development prior to their acquisition by Informix.

Richard de Jong (39), a Dutch citizen, has more than 14 years of professional sales experience in the area of New Information and Communications Technologies (NICT). His expertise and his multicultural knowledge will contribute to strengthen the development of SGT in Northern European territories (Belgium, The Netherlands and Nordic countries).

Greg Kontusz, a German citizen, graduated from Rutgers University in New Jersey and has an MBA from Chubb Institute. He is a highly seasoned sales professional who worked both in the US and in Europe, such as for Oracle and Accenture. At SGT, he is responsible for developing the business in Central Europe and Luxembourg.
