It's almost here - are you ready? Divine Performing Arts returns to the St. Louis on February 6th with its New Year Spectacular.
The worldwide tour began two months ago, and has brought its powerful offering of Chinese culture, music, and dance to many US cities, among them Los Angeles, Boston, and Chicago. Over the last two years, 600,000 people have come and shared in the universal messages of bravery and hope that Divine Performing Arts presents.
It is many performances presented as one, ranging from grand classical processions to touching ethnic and folk dances. All around are stunningly exquisite costumes, perfect harmonies of sound and movement, and an energy that draws the audience out of their normal world.
The Houston show just concluded, leaving with a great review from The Houston Press: "The show combines ancient Chinese pageantry with cool contemporary glitz to create an ooh-aah spectacle that fits the season."
