Charity to Benefit from Company's PC Upgrade Program

ConsumerBase will continue its support of Clearbrook, a social services agency that assists the developmentally disabled and their families, by donating used personal computers. The company is undergoing an upgrade program to outfit its Chicago office with state of the art machines.

The computers being donated are operational and can run current software and operating systems. Clearbrook will have use of the machines for its employees as well as for skills-training for clients.

Carl LaMell, President of Clearbrook, stated, "We at Clearbrook appreciate the continued generosity that we receive from ConsumerBase and its CEO, Larry Organ".

Larry Organ added, "We support the good work that Clearbrook does for individuals and families around Chicago. We urge other organizations with inventories of operational office equipment to consider donating to Clearbrook. They are a truly deserving organization".

Companies wishing to make cash or in-kind donations can find contact information at the agency's website, http://www.clearbrook.org.

About Clearbrook
During the fall of 1955, a small group of parents began meeting with hopes to establish a school for their special needs children. Soon after, on April 16, 1956, Clearbrook was born when the doors of our first classroom opened. Designated as the "Rolling Meadows Community School for Retarded Children Council," we were originally housed in a barn before our first permanent building was acquired in 1961.

From these humble beginnings, Clearbrook has continued to grow and provide services to more than 2,900 children and adults with developmental disabilities. Today, Clearbrook serves nearly 80 communities in Chicago and surrounding suburbs at more than 40 locations.
