Memoir Reveals the Hand of God

Jerry Pollock has faced a life that included an emotionally damaging childhood and Bipolar Disorder, but he has also trusted in God, seeking through science, his Jewish religion, and spirituality to awaken his soul to joy.

The path to God can be strewn with life's hardships, but there is always hope. With belief in God, the journey is possible, as Jerry Pollock testifies in his autobiographical book "Divinely Inspired: Spiritual Awakening of a Soul" (9780981721255, Shechinah Third Temple, Inc., 2009).

From the beginning, Jerry Pollock feels his life has been miraculous. His mother wanted to abort him, yet he entered the world. He grew up in a dysfunctional home where he did not receive the love and attention a child craves. His parents constantly fought, and his father suffered from nervous breakdowns. Jerry began to take pills at a young age for severe migraines brought on by the emotional distress of this environment.

Despite his upbringing, Jerry went on to have a successful career as a scientist. He still did not feel complete, but he worked and raised a family while he searched for meaning. In 1982, God spoke to Jerry, and when Jerry began primal therapy sessions, regressing him back to the womb, he began to heal from his anxiety and pain. Jerry became a whole person, and then he began his journey to become a spiritual one.

"Divinely Inspired" is the story of Jerry's upbringing and healing, but most importantly, it is his search for a relationship with God. He emphasizes that both Primal Therapy and God were necessary to bring him to the bliss of inner peace. He does not feel his life as a scientist has contradicted his spiritual beliefs but rather that God is the master scientist teaching people how to evolve into perfect beings.

Readers will be inspired by Jerry's spiritual journey to seek God for themselves. In "Divinely Inspired," Jerry reveals how the road to God is one of surrendering our intelligence, talking openly with God, taking a leap of faith and trusting all will be well. Jerry highlights that God's message is not of Armageddon but a Messianic Age to come. Quoting the Bible, Jerry reminds us of God's words, "I love those who love Me. For those who search for Me shall find Me. For one who finds Me has found life." Jerry hopes his readers will seek and find God and His peace as he has.
