Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 25, 2009 -- The Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC) is having a Economic Forecast and Industry Outlook event Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, 8 A.M. - 10:30 A.M. at the Marriott Hotel, Grand Ball Room, Downtown Los Angeles, LA.

The event will feature two panel discussions. One focusing on the economic outlook for the regional and national economies, presented by LAEDC Economists, Jack Kyser and Dr. Nancy Sidhu, and the other will feature prominent speakers from the Housing, Retail, Tourism, Entertainment, and International Trade industries. How will trends in each industry sector affect our economy and what strategies can we employ to weather the storm until an economic recovery?
