A number studies have indicated that even low level noise in the work environment can lead to higher levels of stress and lower task motivation

Gerbig Engineering Company, a designer, fabricator and installer of cleanrooms and cleanroom equipment, announced today the availability of a reduced noise crossflow clean workstation. The unit uses multiple fans and sound deadening materials to achieve 67 dBA inside the work zone. Typical competitive units on the market run 10 dBA higher sound levels.
"A number studies have indicated that even low level noise in the work environment can lead to higher levels of stress and lower task motivation" Said Fred Gerbig, President of Gerbig Engineering. "Our product having a much lower noise level helps reduce these types of stresses".
Higher noise environments can also reduce team work and cooperation as team members may have difficulty communication with each other. The new design is now the standard for the crossflow series.
Gerbig Engineering is committed to design and fabricate cleanroom systems and products that reduce energy consumption, improve efficiencies, increase layout flexibility and improve ergonomics in the cleanroom work environment.
