WebAwards is the premier annual award competition that names the best websites in 96 industries and sets the standard of excellence for website development. In 2008, WebAwards received submissions from businesses in 47 countries.

hfa won four Standard of Excellence Awards. These interactive awards were achieved for design and development of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company home page Blimp animation, Dunlop Tires Special Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) e-mail, Veritas Inspiration e-mail and JuJu Beads website.

hfa was also honored for Best Events website for its design of the city of Akron's Lock 3 site - www.lock3live.com. Lock 3 is one of Akron's newest downtown hotspots, which features a vibrant site with an edgy look for summer events and winter attractions.

In addition, the marketing communications firm won two Outstanding awards for website development, one for Wickes Furniture Urban Innovations' micro site and one for the Dunlop Tires SEMA micro site.
