A study by BIRDVIEW Technologies has confirmed that a real estate brokerage's web site presence can be its most effective source of leads. The study was conducted over the course of 12 months and across more than 10 different leading real estate brokerage web sites. The study compared leads generated from a variety of sources including newspaper, magazine, franchise web site, and other on-line real estate portals.
Key findings of the study included:
Fifty seven (57%) of leads came from the brokerages primary web site presence;
Twenty nine (29%) of leads came from national franchise web sites like century21.com;
All other lead sources accounted for less then fifteen (15%) of all leads;
Leads from a brokerage's web site closed at an average five (5%) rate.
