Expands its Customer Service with Newest Saddle Expert Charlie Hueni

When you consider the work of a saddle expert, the overused cliché "going the extra mile" hardly seems to cover it. A Saddle Expert needs to fit the claim his title implies, including the ability to fit a wide range of horses and riders using online tools and phone support. The shop's Saddle Experts each have extensive experience covering a wide range of riding disciplines and possess a canny ability to get to know a rider and pick the perfect saddle to meet their unique needs. Add to this the fact that very few online tack shops offer interactive help or have the time to bother, and has its hands full aiding horse owners around the world. Senior saddle experts Dale Klingerman and Chuck Klockow felt the need to find another employee to satisfy their rapidly expanding customer service needs.

After some consideration, Klockow hired Charlie Hueni, who until recently worked 22 years at Bremen Castings. When asked why he chose Hueni, Klockow stated, "Charlie has worked in customer service for many years and he also was the production manager. I've witnessed him put in tireless hours at the foundry and not complain. I also know he is full of integrity and though he does not enjoy it, will pull me aside for correction when I need it. I know I can fully trust him to work his hardest under my direction."

Hueni is enjoying the challenge of learning something new, and is already helping HorseSaddleShop visitors with saddle recommendations and saddle fit problems at the online interactive help desk. He's excited about the future. "I'm glad we're not trying to be 'the cheapest place you can by a saddle'. Rather, our direction is to become the best source of information you can find for anything about western saddles and tack - along with being the best place to find quality saddles at a great price with excellent service. From the feedback I read, our customers really appreciate these aspects of our business."

In addition to three full time saddle experts, the Horse Saddle Shop has an extensive saddle help section, brimming with articles, diagrams, and downloadable tools that customers can use at home. Customers can also create help tickets for quick answers to their questions or run various troubleshooters to find solutions to common saddle fit problems. Hueni looks forward to expanding these tools to their full potential.

So customers could feel free to warm up the truck, hitch up the trailer, and haul their unwilling horse off to the local tack shop for saddle fitting help. Or they could just pick up the phone. Most customers prefer the latter.
