International Fuel Technology, Inc. ("IFT") (OTCBB: IFUE) Announced that DiesoLiftTM BD-3, IFT's Proprietary Fuel Additive Formulation, Receives "No Harm" Certification From the German-based Association for the Quality Management of Bio-Diesel ("AGQM") For Bio-Diesel Fuel Blends.

DiesoLIFTTM BD-3 has been extensively tested at prominent independent research facilities and is proven to be the most effective stabilizer formulation in the market today for addressing oxidation stability and deposit forming tendency in bio-diesel, both in pure form or blended with diesel fuel.

International Fuel Technology, Inc. ("IFT") (OTCBB: IFUE) announced that DiesoLIFTTM BD-3, IFT's proprietary fuel additive formulation designed to address oxidation stability and deposit forming tendency in bio-diesel fuel blends, received no harm certification from the AGQM ( http://www.agqm-biodiesel.de/_10____169.html ). The AGQM is an independent German-based organization formed in 1999 to monitor the quality of bio-diesel.

The AGQM recently completed an extensive test and evaluation process on a number of oxidation stability additives designed for use with bio-diesel fuel blends. The purpose of the process was to determine which fuel additives had no detrimental interaction with: the petroleum-based fuel, other additives mixed into the petroleum-based fuel, or the engine lube oil, and included the following tests:

  •     XUD9 engine test according to CEC F-23-1-01for nozzle fouling
  •     DGMK 663 filtration test
  •     DGM 531-1 test for engine compatibility
  •     Safety test to confirm no change of safety characteristics of the bio-diesel (e.g., flash point, water hazard class)
  •     Fuel specification test to confirm no change to the parameters of the norm according to EN 14214 for bio-diesel

"Receiving the coveted no harm certification from the AGQM is another important validation of the commercial viability of IFT's DiesoLIFTTM BD-3," said Axel Farhi, IFT's Director of Global Business Development. "DiesoLIFTTM BD-3 has been extensively tested at prominent independent research facilities and is proven to be the most effective stabilizer formulation in the market today for addressing oxidation stability and deposit forming tendency in bio-diesel, both in pure form or blended with diesel fuel."
