Traveler's Can Get Road Conditions on MoDOT's Online Map
Jefferson City (Vocus/PRWEB ) January 26, 2009 -- With ice and snow expected to pelt most of the state today and tomorrow, the Missouri Department of Transportation is reminding motorists to check its online traveler information map at www.modot.org for the latest road conditions.
The map will be updated continuously through the storm to show whether major roads are clear, partly covered, covered or closed. MoDOT crews will be out in force through the storm's duration to treat and clear highways. In the last two years, the map has been viewed two million times.
MoDOT's toll-free customer service line is also staffed 24/7. Call 1-888-ASK MODOT (1-888-275-6636) for the latest updates.
