KIWI Magazine and Revolution Foods have launched the Moms of the Revolution contest celebrating moms who have taken action to revolutionize the way kids in their community eat. A distinguished group of judges will help choose a mom who has shown initiative and inspired healthier eating options for kids at school or in their community. A "Mom of the Revolution" submission will be judged based upon the following guidelines: inspiration to make a change, their initiative, action, results, and how they would spend a cash prize towards a Healthy School Lunch Initiative.
Five moms will be selected to be featured in KIWI Magazine, received a free KIWI subscription, and a one year supply of organic lunchbox snacks for their family from Revolution Foods. One of the five moms will win the grand prize of $3,000 in cash to help fund their own Healthy School Lunch Revolution. To enter, moms and friends of moms will submit a completed "Moms of the Revolution" survey that details the actions taken by a "Mom" (female or male parent, caretaker, or guardian of a child 18 years of age or younger).
