A new website from boutique children's book publisher Little Bunny Press allows users to upload photographs and create custom characters in a variety of stories. The publisher's latest offering is a personalized colouring book that is sure to be a hit with kids and parents alike.

Little Bunny Press, a boutique publisher of personalized children's books in Quebec, Canada, has released a new book entitled "Perfect Picnic Adventure: A colouring book for your child."

In October of 2008, this family-run small business opened its website to the public and has since been praised for its unique books which incorporate customer photographs to create personalized stories that empower children and encourage reading and imagination. On the website, http://www.LittleBunnyPress.com, users may upload and edit their own photographs or request the staff at Little Bunny Press to crop and edit photographs to create custom characters in a variety of stories aimed at toddlers and elementary school children.

The latest book from Little Bunny Press further encourages children to become a part of the story by incorporating the faces of a child and two adult family members into a colouring book format. The soft cover 8"x8" book, printed on 100% recycled paper, is a rhyming story about a fun-filled day in the countryside with friends or family.

Little Bunny Press feels that the highest praise for a children's book should come from the children themselves. "We write and illustrate our books for my 2 ½ year old daughter, Annika , our 'Little Bunny'," says Tamara Ensio, co-owner of Little Bunny Press with siblings Cari Anya Ensio and Peter Ensio. "Every story we write and every illustration Cari draws are run past Annika before we decide to release a book. If we get squeals of delight, we know the book is ready for other children to enjoy!"

Several other titles are scheduled for release in early 2009, including a birthday-themed story, books for Mothers' Day and Fathers' Day, and French language books.
